Insuring is saving

When it’s time to rent a car, we are always scared to look at the price tag. Some car rental companies may be on the cheap side, but by “cheap” we always mean “cheaper than the rest”. Truth be said, renting is always expensive, so we always try to save in any way we can. So you can save by not getting GPS or taking your own kid seat with you, but you should never save on insurance. Because, in the end, that saving can really cost you plenty.

Car hire companies are relentless when it comes to pursuing people that damage their cars. And the insurance policy that comes standard with the car is never the best one – it’s not even a really good one. It doesn’t cover a lot of damage, what covers is usually just a percentage – meaning that you will always have to pay something, even if the accident wasn’t your fault sometimes – and sometimes it completely leaves out parts of the car, like the undercarriage, the hood or the side mirrors. This means that getting excess car hire insurance is always a good option when you rent a car. It will guarantee that you’re safe, and it will give you the peace of mind to drive comfortably.
